説明
Excellent Wakizashi. A masterpiece of the Mumei (Mihara school) made in the late Muromachi period.
It features a straight Hamon called Suguha, a characteristic of the Mihara school.
The Kitaehada (pattern on the unquenched part) is powerful and atmospheric.
The blade and koshirae are in very good condition; some parts, such as the seppa, have deteriorated with age. Please refer to the photos. Also, Tsuba and Kodsuka are a little loose.
Blade is certified by NBTHK as a preserved sword.
Tsuba has also been individually certified as a meaningful sword as a cultural resource and is of historical value.
Fuchi and Kashira are also recognized for their historical value and individually certified as special valuable props.
Sword stand is made of Japanese deer horn and is powerful. It is in good condition.
All in all, a very good grade Wakizashi that is rarely available.
